Terms of use

The short version, in plain words. By using Hanapp you agree to these and to our Rules.

What Hanapp isHanapp is a place for people and shops in the Philippines to list and find physical items. Buyers and sellers make deals with each other. Hanapp is not the seller of items listed by users.
Your accountYou need to be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to buy or sell. Keep your login private and give accurate details. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
ListingsSellers are responsible for their listings being accurate, legal and allowed under our Rules. We may remove listings or accounts that break the Rules.
PaymentsRight now buyers pay sellers directly using the payment options the seller provides. Hanapp doesn’t hold, process or refund these payments. Settle any issues with the other person first, and report problems to us.
Claims, offers and bidsClaiming an item, having an offer accepted, or winning a bid means you agree to pay within the time shown. Repeatedly not paying may limit your account.
Delivery and meetupsBuyers and sellers agree on delivery or meetup details. Meet in public places and check items before you leave.
Reviews and contentWhat you post must be honest and yours to share. You let Hanapp show it in the app so others can see your listings, profile and reviews.
VerificationEmail verified, Mobile verified, ID verified and Verified+ show what was checked at the time. They aren’t a promise about a person or a deal. A seller who isn’t ID verified hasn’t had their identity checked by Hanapp, and you deal with them at your own risk. We show a warning on these sellers.
PasabuyComing soon. Runs are offered by sellers, not by Hanapp. Only Verified+ sellers can open one, and Hanapp checks a ticket for each trip. These checks lower the risk but don’t remove it. Each order has its own agreement between the buyer and the seller, and Hanapp isn’t part of it. Hanapp may limit how much a seller can take on. You pay the seller directly, often before the item is bought, so delays, price changes, shipping costs and customs charges can happen. After you pay you can’t cancel unless the seller can’t get your item, and then the seller must refund your downpayment within 7 days. Hanapp doesn’t hold or refund this money. Sellers are responsible for buying what they promised, following our Rules, declaring goods at customs and paying any duties.
Hanapp’s roleHanapp connects buyers and sellers and doesn’t take part in their deals. We work to verify sellers, act on reports and remove what breaks our Rules, but we can’t guarantee every seller or item. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Philippine law.
Changes and contactWe may update these terms as Hanapp grows and will tell you about important changes. Questions? Use Contact support in Settings.
